sometimes these ideas pop in my head, I have no idea if they can be workable with what you can do with computers currently but maybe in the future.
I've done this before
"you know wacom pads are cool, but they should find a way to make them so you can draw directly on the screen"
(wacom cintiq is released)
"you know cintics are awesome but they should find a way to make it so you can rotate the stylus and it rotates the brush in photoshop so you can lay it down in any direction"
(wacom art pen with rotation sensitivity is released)
"you know cintiics with the art pen is awesome, but they should make photoshop brushes that completely mimic paintbrush physics"
(photoshop CS5 with paintbrush physics is released)
"you know I'd love if the wacom cintiq had a hybrid stylus/touchscreen imput so I can replicate smudge shading with my finger or something"
(wacom cintic 24hd touch is released)
oh I've done this with C4D too, "oh I'd love a really good cel shade render for C4D, oh I'd love a really good hair renderer, oh I'd love a really good partical physics engine, oh I'd love to be able to paint on your model like you're painting a real life object but with photoshop, oh I'd it if Sketch and Toon, Hair and Thinking Particles and Bodypaint were integrated completely as standard in C4D, oh I'd love it if you had integrated cloth and environment physics in c4d, oh I'd love it if you can sculpt your model in c4D like clay, oh I'd love it if they made integrated liquid physics or shatter objects realisticly in c4d (release 14) oh I'd love it if there was a plug in where you can hook up vr gloves and manipulate your model like a real world object, perhaps complete with vr goggles and force feedback in the gloves too! (not a commercially availible app as of now but I've seen it in the works)
so now I'm doing this once again!
you know what would be awesome?
Imagine if you had a kinect or a leap motion device with a plugin app for photoshop, when you flick or wave your wrist the device and the plug in lays down a random paint splatter brush on your photoshop canvas! sort of a Jackson Pollock style painting application, bonus if it had a paint dripping physics plugin too!
seriously! somebody make that!
